Minutes:

The minutes of the Community Grant Panel held on 24 July 2019 were confirmed as a true record with the following addition that delegated authority had been given to the Chairman to award additional funding of £2,500 to Dalwood Community Shop.

Parishes Together Fund amendment request from Colyton Parish Council pdf icon PDF 107 KB

Amendments to a drainage and ditching project from Colyton Parish Council.

Minutes:

Jamie Buckley, Engagement & Funding Officer reported that Colyton Parish Council had submitted amendments to a drainage and ditching project that had previously been approved for £1,292.90.

 

It was noted that the release of the first ditch by Devon County Council may have revealed other issues that may not have been known.

 

RECOMMENDED:    that the amendments to a drainage and ditching project for £1,292.90 be supported.

Discussion of Crowdfund East Devon pdf icon PDF 73 KB

Minutes:

Members considered the Crowdfunding East Devon Report that outlined the possible recommendations.

 

RECOMMENDED:   

1.    that the Community Grant Panel / East Devon District Council formally propose to Devon County Council to keep monies left in the Crowdfund East Devon pot at the end of 2019 / 2020 to keep running the crowdfunding scheme in 2020 / 2021 be agreed.

2.    That if there are an appropriate amount of monies leftover, the Community Grants Panel  / East Devon District Council formally propose to Devon County Council that we use some of these monies to set up a small grants scheme in 2020 / 2021 for our not for profit groups be agreed.
